Non Motorized (manual) Treadmill

The advantages of non-motorized treadmills are they are lot more cheaper than the motorized ones. They come in smaller sizes, so it is easy to place them in smaller places. The non-motorized treadmills weigh a lot less than the motorized ones and easy to fold and place them in a corner.

For you, if the cost is the main reason going for a non-motorized manual treadmill is recommended. But for all other reasons it is better to go for a motorized treadmill. If you are basically althletic and your body is in good shape and you need a treadmill for some time management reasons, you can go for a non motorized manual treadmill. But if you are not in good shape and not used to running, then it would be easy for you if you go for a motorized treadmill.

Non-motorized treadmills have belts which move when you push them backwards. Practially you will be running by pushing the belt backward and this may give strength to your legs but they may also get injured if your legs are not already in good shape. The Law Of Abundance And Manifesting Abundance

What is law of abundance. To understand this law, one has to deeply observe nature and its law. Law of abundance simply means that God has created this universe in such a way that you can have anything that you want to have to have the abundant life. I would like to keep the subject of law of abundance simple and non-religious. Abundance means the property of more than adquate quantity of supply and law of abundance is a law of nature which says there is good in abundance in nature and it is our minds which get addicted to thinking in proverty or scarcity and forget the law of abuance and abonden the abundant living system fighting within ourselves.


At first, it was very difficult for me to understand law of abundance, living abundant life or manifesting abundance became phrases used by people who sell wacky theories of success. Later when I started meditating and starting going beyond the material world, I started to understand this law and its importance. Manfesting abunadance require you to first understand and believe in abundance. How can anyone who is scarcity conscious can even think of having riches. To understand the law of abundance and use this in your life, you have to first get detached from your present situation. You have to first know that the scarcity consciousness is just subjective in nature and anything subjective can be changed and your world outside will change only it is changed inside. First step towards a life of simple abundance is to believe that nature essentially provides you with abundance and nothing but your mind is limiting the flow of abundance.


Here you can do a small exercise. Lie down on a couch or sit in a comfortable chair and relax yourself. Close your eyes and relax your body. Take three deep breaths. Say relax....relax...relax and relax your mind. Now imaging yourself as having all the riches you wanted to have. If you are in a very difficult situation financially, there will be lot of resistance in this imagination exercise. Imagine the car you always wanted to have. Imagine it so clearly that you can see the color and feel the touch. You can smell the interior. Say that is your car. There will resistance now if you are scarcity minded. You can see hour you mind is resisting even imagination. If it is resisting even the imagination even the dream, how do you think it will accept reality. You mind is not accepting riches my friend, you first teach it to accept riches. To do this you have first believe that you can have anything you want to have. You are nothing less nothing more than any other human in this world and God created you and he cannot create inferior things. With the belief in yourself continue imagination. This time your imagination will be more realistic. When you say yourself that the car is actually your, there will be change in your consciousness about abundance. My friend, the day you successfully change your mind from scarcity conciousness to ambuandance concious, you can start manifesting abundance and start living the abundant life.

Fight Childhood Obesity with Physical Education

Childhood obesity has become a major problem internationally and has become a concern to parents and society at large. There are many studies being conducted to know the causes of childhood obesity and prevent the consequenses of childhood obesity. As you look at it deeply, it is the problem of many developed and developing nations.

Cities are becoming richer and congested. The crime rate is increasing. Outdoors are becoming increasingly unsafe to little kids to go out and play. Time being spent in education is leaving children with little time to play. Families are becoming what they micro families. These days children seldom go out and play by themselves. Neighbors continues to be strangers even after years spent together. Children rarely play with other children, their only playmates are TV and computer.

They watch TV lying down in the couch, they play video games, they study, they eat, and they sleep lying down. As outdoor activity became less, celebrations are becoming indoor. The only way we now know celebrating is eating. Other than toys as parents we tend to buy lot of junk food to express our love to them. And children with very little outdoor activities and increased study hours and junk food are becoming obese and this problem is becoming international.

The consequences of childhood obesity include asthma, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, apnea, and problems with mental health. Obese children are more prone to the above illnesses than their nonobese friends. Knowing about these diseases, made me take care of my children's health. As my children are very small either me or my wife take them to the park every other day for about 1 hour. They also practice yoga along with me. TV is restricted to just 1 hour for the children and 1 hour for the adults in the house. I diciplined myself and seldom take home junk food. In future, I plan to join my children in sports clubs. My plan to make a community of the neighborhood in order to have interaction with people of the neighborhood knowing one another and their children well, so that our children go out and play in the neighborhood.

I strongly believe that as parents it is our responsibilty to take care of our childrens health and their future.


Physical education is the only way now a days parents are depending on for some exercise. The inability of busy parents to monitor the activities of children made then look for schools which can take most of the burden off their shoulders. Indeed schools which took up physical education and wellbeing of their students seriously are preferred most by the parents.
