Fertility Artificial Insemination

Artificial insemination is a procedure where the sperm is artificially placed either into a woman's cervix or uterus. When the sperm is placed inside the cervix, it is called intracervical insemination and if it is placed inside the uterus, it is called intrauterine insemination. Artificial insemination has become most common fertility procedures for the couples when there is a problem with sperm count in the semen.


The success of this procedure of artificial fertilization depends on various factors like the age of the patients and type of the infertility problem. Artificial insemination is done most commonly for cattle, horses, dogs and other pets to maintain the high quality of the breeds.


How Much Does Artificial Insemination Cost:

Cost of artificial insemination in humans is a very expensive procedure as most of the centers runs as commercial establishment. The success of these centers is because of the emotion attached to the success of this procedure. The cost includes fertility treatment with drugs, necessary tests, consultations and diagnoses, the main procedure and followup. As the cost of artificial insemination depends on expertise, going is for a low cost artificial insemination is not recommended.
