Anti dandruff shampoos work in two steps. The first step is to remove the dandruff for this you have to use this shampoo washing your hair multiple times in a day. The second step is killing the fungi with the help of fungicides present in the shampoos. It may be chemical or herbal shampoos but both take the same two steps to control dandruff.

To get rid of dandruff you can also use citrus fruits, cloves, basil, papaya as home remedies for dandruff. Herbal oils and herbal shampoos for dandruff also contain lemon oils which are also used to treat acne and skin allergies. Using this lemon oil to massage your hair and then washing the air with mild shampoo control dandruff well.
